Timothy John Reis passed away peacefully at home on January 12, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was born January 24, 1965, in Sac City, Iowa, to Paul Jerome and Carol Lou (Carnes) Reis.
Tim spent his childhood and adolescent years living in Early, IA with his family. He attended Crestland High School and graduated in 1984. A couple of years after school, Tim moved to Lee’s Summit, alongside his brother Bob and sister Mary. Tim attended a trade school to become a machinist. He worked for several years at R&D Tool and Engineering. Tim then began his own drywall company which he ran until his passing.
Tim had a love for his family and friends and being outdoors. His hobbies included riding dirt bikes and his RZR, working in his building, and spending time with his family, friends, and his two dogs. Tim was loved dearly by many family and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Paul Jerome Reis.
He is survived by his mother, Carol L. (Carnes) Reis of Lee’s Summit, MO; two children, Travis Reis and wife Rachael Reis of Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter Rachel Reis of Lee’s Summit, MO; a beloved grandson, Teddy Reis; two brothers, Bob Reis and wife, Nancy Reis of Lee’s Summit, MO; and Mark Reis and wife, Sara Reis of Lee’s Summit, MO; and three sisters, Connie Jensen of St. Ansgar, IA, Gail Drey and husband Keith Provin of Iowa City, IA, and Mary Reis of Pleasant Hill, MO.
All services will be held at Wallace Funeral Homes, 422 N. Lake St. Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 18, 2020, Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12 Noon with Bro. James Kennedy officiating. Casket Bearers will be Bob Reis, Mark Reis, Travis Reis, Doryan LeBaron, Brian Chaney, Randy Anderson and Mike Raysik. Interment will be in Adams Cemetery, Grain Valley, Missouri.
