STANLEY EDWARD STINE

Stanley Edward Stine was born November 18, 1953 in Webb City, Missouri and departed this life on February 7, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, Missouri at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 20 days.

He was the son of Leo Edward and Develta L. (Osborn) Stine.

On April 15, 1988, Stanley was united in marriage with Rhonda Kay Sims in Miami, Oklahoma and they made their home in Independence, Missouri.

Before his retirement, Stanley had worked at Unity Village in the printing department.

Stanley was a member of Mt. Washington Masonic Lodge #614 of Independence, Missouri.

Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Leo Edward Stine.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rhonda Kay (Sims) Stine of the home; his mother, Develta L. Stine of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Rick Stine and wife Dian of Independence, Missouri; sister, Pam Brown and husband Bobby of Independence, Missouri; brother-in-law, Randy Sims and wife Debbie of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; 1 niece, 2 nephews, 6 great-nephews, 2 great-nieces, 1 great great-nephew, other relatives and many friends.

The family of Stanley Edward Stine will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. A Masonic Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. by Mt. Washington Masonic Lodge #614 of Independence, Missouri. Funeral Services will immediately follow the Masonic service with Rev. Lynne Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. As Stanley was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and MU Tigers, the family would encourage everyone to wear your sporting gear from any of those teams.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. Contributions may be left at the funeral home or made online at rmhckc.org. If you are wanting to send a check directly, it can be mailed to:
