On behalf of the Class of 1978 of Pleasant Hill, I wanted the family to know that Max was a great classmate and will always be remembered. We are all very sorry to hear about Max but I enjoyed reading about Max’s life. I was so glad to learn that he was able to be successful at everything he did in his life and have such a loving family. Wish I would have known about his health problems, I would have made sure to have seen him in 2023 when I traveled back to Pleasant Hill. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family during this difficult time.. Brent Palmer….
Thank you Brent! It’s wonderful to hear about my dad in high school and younger days! I always see his pictures and think to myself that I wish I could have known him when he was young with how he was as an adult and a dad.
My deepest condolences to to Max’s family, friends and loved ones.
Thank you for your thoughts at this time.
I’m so sorry to hear about Max. I’d gotten to know Max from working with him at the Red racks in lee summit. He was very kin, funny, and a very nice man. Last year i was the only one left outside the store real late, Max was very nice to stay with me, make sure I had gotten home safe. He gave me rides home from time to time. When ever we had these wigs donated, Max would waling around wearing these wigs and just making everyone smile, laugh, and forget their problems for a while. making the work day better with his witty jokes. Everyone at work loved Max and he would be forever missed. I’m sorry for your loss and pray for healing during these hard times.
