Nicholas Robert “Nick” Fields was born June 22, 1993 in Kansas City, Missouri and departed this life on August 13, 2016, the result of a tragic motorcycle accident, at the age of 23 years. He was the son of Tammy (Culter) Fields and Benny Fields.
Nick spent his life in Pleasant Hill and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 2013. In his younger years he earned his 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and then became a member of the Midwest Young Marines.
Nick was a hard working young man and, at the time of his death, was employed at the Quick Trip Distribution Center in Belton, Missouri.
Nick had a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed “Gaming” and in this regard had made friends all over the world.
Nick stayed in contact with his childhood school friends and those he befriended at work and enjoyed spending time with them. He had a deep and abiding love for his family and spent many happy hours with his Uncle Corey, riding motorcycles and just “hanging out”.
Nick is survived by his mother, Tammy (Culter) Fields of the home; his father, Benny Fields of Hook, Texas; several brothers and sisters; “The Uncle”, Corey O’Tool of Pleasant Hill; uncles, Bill Jarvis of Kansas City, Missouri and Robert Fields of Pleasant Hill; aunts, Samantha Culter of Raytown, Missouri, Amanda Culter of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Kathy (Jarvis) Louthan of Pleasant Hill; his best friend, Caitlin King of Pleasant Hill; numerous cousins and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 -8:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Missouri with Elder Ronald Jennings officiating. Casket Bearers will be Aaron Jarvis, Scott Jarvis, Will Gough, Frankie Castro, Alan Voss and Jacob Wright.
There will be a funeral procession from the Wallace Funeral Home to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Tuesday morning at 9:15a.m. for those who wish to participate.
