Mary Ann (Reilly) Farrell was born November 9, 1944 in Ashley, Pennsylvania and departed this life on September 4, 2019, surrounded by the love of her family, at her son’s home in Belton, Missouri, at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 26 days.
She was the daughter of Milo Vivian and Josephine Ann (Mandycz) Reilly.
Mary Ann spent her younger years and attended school in the Wyoming, Pennsylvania area.
On June 22, 1963, Mary Ann was united in marriage with James J. Farrell, Sr. in Pittston, Pennsylvania. After their marriage, they lived several places before moving to the Belton, Missouri area in 1979. Mr. Farrell passed away on May 18, 2014 and Mary continued to make her home in Belton after his death.
Mary Ann worked as a team leader at House of Lloyd, Inc. in Grandview, Missouri, for several years. She eventually left her job to stay at home and raise her three children and be a full time homemaker. Mary Ann was a wonderful, loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her entire world revolved around her family.
In addition to her husband, James J. Farrell, Sr., Mary Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Ann Farrell on January 19, 2011; her parents, Milo and Josephine Reilly; two brothers, John Reilly and Milo “Butch” Reilly, and one sister, Carol Novak.
She is survived by two sons, James J. Farrell, Jr. and wife Missy, and Lee Farrell all of Belton, Missouri; two brothers, Anthony Reilly and wife Teri of Belton, Missouri, and Joe Reilly of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Kathy Carr and husband Mike, and Barbara Walko all of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; three Grandchildren, six Great-Grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
The family of Mary Ann (Reilly) Farrell will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Wallace Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Chet Rutledge officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, Pennsylvania.
