Mark L Perdue, 54, of Columbia passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at University Hospital and Clinics. Mark was born October 13, 1960 in Kansas City, MO to Chester Perdue and Annie Margaret (Smith) Perdue who both preceded him in death. On May 14, 1999 in Columbia he was united in marriage to Joyce Smith who survives in their home.
Mark spent his life involved with cars. He worked for Carquest, the Mid-Missouri Auto Auction and owned his own auto repair business. He enjoyed mud marathons, trucks, and going to rodeo. Most of all, Mark will be remembered as a loving husband and devoted grandfather.
Mark is survived by his wife of nearly 16 years: Joyce; three children: David McGuire (finacee: Angela Spartz) of Kansas City, MO; Angela McGuire of the State of Texas; Willard Dean Smith (Shannon) of Jefferson City, MO; nine grandchildren: Zander; Bailey; Alex; Ethan; Alexander; Ashley; Kayla; Miranda; Jarrett; one sister: Shelly Jones (Bobby) of Pleasant Hill, MO; three nieces Angie, Jessica, and Braye.
Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Millard Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Strasburg Baptist Church, 503 W. Mill St., Strasburg, MO 64090.
