JEAN ANN YOUNG
Jean Ann Young was born July 27, 1941 and departed this life March 30, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, Missouri, surrounded by the love of her family.
Jean was the daughter of Leslie Eugene Rook and Goldie Ann (Sloan) Rook. She graduated from Peculiar High School in 1959.
On June 2, 1959, she was united in marriage with Charles Lester Young in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Harrisonville for six years before moving to Pleasant Hill in 1965.

When her grandchildren came along, she enjoyed babysitting and attending their sporting events and various activities with Charles. She loved flowers, cooking Sunday dinners, and word puzzles. But above all else, Jean loved the time she was able to spend with her family.
