He was a great guy. I only met him a few times but everytime he was such a nice person. Sending love from the bottom of my heart for the family. 💓
What a warrior Eric was with his faithful and loving wife Lori by his side. We shared many happy times with their family as newlyweds and young parents. Eric was always full of humor. He worked tirelessly as an AWANA leader and always had time for his own kids. Eric was resourceful and a hard worker who provided well for his family. Many prayers for all of Eric’s family, rejoicing that Eric is released into the Lord’s presence, but sorely missed by those who loved him.
My heart and prayers going out to the family….
Our son was an employee at AIL when we lost him to an auto accident Eric spent several hours in a visit with us at our home. I will never forget the genuine caring and comfort he provided. He was a very good man the world will miss.
Lori and family , Your all are in my thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful man. He loved his family and church family. He is with his maker and has his wings in heaven.
What a friend! Eric and I met when we were 7 years old and immediately we connected. He was one of my best friends growing up. There are countless fantastic memories: football games every Sunday afternoon in the field across the street from his house, birthday parties at each other’s house, church camp, canoe partner down Sugar Creek, bike rides, backyard baseball, Sunday School class, youth group, Christmas caroling, playing trumpet duets, walking to school together on Tuesday’s from the Pycraft’s, helping him with his paper route, pizza at Pizza Cottage, running through Pleasant View when the adults weren’t watching…I could go on and on. Eric’s death makes me sad. Lori, I know you will receive mercy and find grace to help in your time of need. Praise God for the years He gave both of you together. The Cochran’s are in my heart and prayers.
The loss of Eric leaves us with sadness as we remember his witty sense of humor, how he loved his family, and the strength and courage he displayed as he fought his battle with cancer. His testimony of his faith and of the goodness of our Lord, Jesus Christ, as he bravely endured over the last 19 months, and the beauty, strength, courage, and faithfulness of his Bride, Lori, will always be what we remember most! We love you, you all so much and we will see you soon, Eric!
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Eric. Perry has very fond memories of him and I’ve enjoyed hearing the many stories of their friendship over the years. Along with Joe Osborn, they will always be remembered as the three musketeers. We rejoice in the comfort that he is no longer suffering and we will see him again in heaven. Our prayers are with you all!
