Eric Lee Cochran, 58, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2020, at his home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
Eric was born August 27, 1962 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of David and Glenda (Slavens) Cochran, the third of six children.
He graduated from Crawfordsville High School, Crawfordsville, Indiana, in 1981. He attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia before accepting a position at Raybestos. Eric continued his leadership career as a superintendent of manufacturing at ACC in Sterling Heights, Michigan from 1995 -2000. He continued his career by accepting the job as Director of Manufacturing at Sika in Grandview, Missouri from 2000 – 2007. Eric took his leadership and business skills and started up his own company, Integrity Management group, LLC, owning and managing rental properties. As life sometimes leads you down different paths, in 2007 Eric began a new direction selling insurance for American Income Life (AIL). In December of 2009, Eric accepted the position as Iowa State Director for AIL, until ending his 10-year career with AIL. He took on a temporary job as Supervisor for the Automotive Department at Wal-mart before learning of his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. His strength, courage and determination afforded him 19 months with his family.
Eric was a member of Abundant Life Church. He enjoyed working outdoors at his log cabin home and watching spectator sports, especially football. He loved his family and was ready and willing to help anyone in need.
Eric was preceded in death by his father, David Cochran.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lori Jean (Stewart) Cochran of the home; his mother, Glenda M. (Slavens) Cochran of Crawfordsville, Indiana; sons, Jonathan Robert (Courtney) Cochran of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Cory Mayne Cochran of Westminster, Colorado; daughter, Anna Constance Cochran of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; 1 grandchild, Adelle Lynn Cochran; siblings, Tammy (Steve) Schopf of Bondurant, Iowa, Bruce (Pam) Cochran of Greensburg, Indiana, Shelly (Greg) Hunt of Avon, Indiana, Amy (Edward) Phillips of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Howard (Beth) Cochran of Crawfordsville, Indiana; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
The family of Eric Lee Cochran will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Wallace Funeral Home, 422 N. Lake Street, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, at the Wallace Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill Boren, officiating. Casket Bearers will be Bruce Cochran, Howard Cochran, Jonathan Cochran, Cory Cochran, Kody Kramme and Jordan Kness. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Due to the increase in Covid-19, masks and social distancing are strongly suggested.

Eric left a real impact everywhere he went. He was a great guy was is enjoying God’s presence now with no more pain. Praying for Lori and all the family during this difficult time. Love you all!
Lori and the Cochran family , you are in my prayers. Eric was a true example of a warrior against Cancer and a faithful follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. He was a fantastic example to me how to deal with a illness and walk with Christ.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of loss. We take comfort in knowing that Eric is out of pain and with his Lord and Saviour!! We have fond memories of Eric growing up in church together.Our families grew up together and became wonderful friends.

Please accept our sincerest condolences! We saw all of you kids grow in Your Christian faith at Pleasantview and East side Baptist churches through the years and as each of you married your Christian spouses and continued on to serve the Lord ! We always loved how dedicated each of you were as your parents beamed talking always when we asked how each of you were !
