Susie was seldom seen without her sister’s Betty and Darlene being at her side, they even called themselves “The Golden Girls”.
Susie enjoyed shopping, reading, traveling, especially her cruises and her yearly trip to Branson, Missouri with her family. She was actively involved with her grandchildren and attended all of their activities and sporting events.
Susie ‘s faith in God was strong and even in her last days she wanted everyone to know that she had seen her loved ones, that had passed before her, and they were waiting for her. She talked about seeing the angels and how beautiful they were. Susie was at peace and excited about “Going Home”.

I met Susie when our daughters became best friends in elementary school. She was always like a second mother to my daughter Becky. She was one of the sweetest women I have ever met. I will miss her.
she was was my grandmother and she and I did a lot of things together, and she had a great personality.
the good thing is that she is in a much better place now, I think about her all the time, and I’m thankful for all the memories I got to make with her.
