ANDREW CODEY LYNN GULLEY

Andrew Codey Lynn Gulley, 35, of Pleasant Hill Missouri passed away January 20, 2025.

Codey was born in Kansas City, MO December 3, 1989, to Dennis and Denise Gulley. He was the youngest of six children. He grew up in Pleasant Hill, Missouri and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School. From the time he could talk, Codey loved to entertain others. He would take on any dare if he thought it would make his family and friends laugh. His playful and mischievous nature sprang from his big loving heart. He generally cared for others and was quick to help those in need. Codey enjoyed football and was a Chiefs fanatic. One of his life’s greatest passions was creating and playing music. His love for music developed at a young age as he watched with admiration his dad, brothers, and family friends inspire others with singing and instruments. Codey went on to master the drums, play guitar, sing, and write music of his own.  During his young adult years, a new and greater passion entered his life-his four sons. His sons were his pride and joy. He loved each one with all his heart. Codey had faith in Jesus and was a member of Open Door Church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

Codey will be remembered for his fierce devotion as a son, brother, father, and friend. His handsome and fun-loving smile will always live in the hearts of those he loved.

Codey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Sandra Palmgren, James and Virginia Beach, and Kenneth and Glenda Gulley.

Codey is lovingly remembered by his four sons, Carter Gulley, Ryan Gulley, Matthew Gulley, and Bradley Gulley.  His parents, Dennis and Denise Gulley. His five siblings, Bobi and Wade McCumber, Brad and Brittany Gulley, Michael and Crystal Hunter, Jennifer and Cole March, and Matt and Katie Gulley. His eighteen nieces and nephews.

The family of Andrew “Codey” Lynn Gulley will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. I remember Codey so fondly from High School. We were in the Hilltop Band together and had a great time backstage with Mama O and the gang. He was so talented and so kind and so funny. I am praying for you all as you mourn this tragic loss. I know how greatly he will be missed.
